Dog owners are in for a treat this May, as Blenheim Palace invites pets to explore its gardens alongside their owners. From May 6 to May 31, dogs will be allowed access to the palace’s courtyards, formal gardens, and the walled garden — areas usually off-limits to pets.
Visitors and their four-legged companions can enjoy the spring blooms, stroll through the picturesque gardens, and relax in the historic spaces of the palace grounds. Designated drinking stations will be available to help keep dogs cool and hydrated as they explore the area.
While dogs are welcome in the outdoor spaces, they will not be allowed inside the palace or the adventure play area, except for assistance dogs. However, dogs are welcome year-round in the Pantry Café, palace shop, and pizzeria.
To make the experience enjoyable for everyone, owners are reminded to keep their dogs on short leads, clean up after them, and never leave them unattended in vehicles. Additionally, Blenheim Palace is reviving its #DogsofBlenheim hashtag on social media, inviting visitors to share their best pet photos from the palace grounds, with the team selecting their favorites to reshare.
This initiative offers a wonderful opportunity for dog lovers to enjoy Blenheim Palace’s historic beauty with their furry friends.
