The popular ‘Woofstock’ festival, dedicated to dogs and their owners, is making its return to Brussels this May. The event will be held on 24 and 25 May at Tour & Taxis.
In its inaugural edition, which took place in October, the festival attracted over 1,000 people. This year, the festival promises to be even bigger and more exciting, with a variety of activities for both dogs and their human companions.
Attendees can expect a packed program, including:
-
Canine demonstrations showcasing various dog skills
-
Stalls from specialist shops offering dog-related products
-
Dog yoga classes and canine fitness sessions
-
Workshops on how to photograph your four-legged friend
-
Tips on massaging and preparing meals for your dog
In addition to these activities, there will be several lectures, including a special session with Lucky, the emotional support dog of the Brussels police.
Animal welfare organizations will also be present to promote their work and engage with festival-goers. For the dogs, there will be two designated play areas, one featuring a ball pit and the other a traditional swimming pool.
Human visitors can enjoy pétanque courts and sample offerings from various food trucks.
Whether you’re a dog lover or just looking for a fun weekend out, Woofstock offers something for everyone and is set to be a highlight of the Brussels event calendar this May!
