A West Valley couple is desperately seeking the return of their dog, Sadie, who ran off after a harrowing car accident on Interstate 10 near Blythe.
Tammy Richey, who was traveling back to Verrado from California, was involved in a severe crash when her car flipped multiple times. Richey was airlifted to the hospital but was physically unharmed. However, she has no memory of the crash itself or when her dog, Sadie, jumped out of the vehicle during the incident.
A Good Samaritan who assisted Richey after the crash told authorities that they saw Sadie flee into the surrounding desert.
Since the crash, which occurred over a month ago, search teams have scoured the area with drones and food in hopes of finding the tan-colored multipoo, but Sadie remains missing.
Sadie was last seen wearing a pink floral collar, though it did not have tags, and she is not microchipped.
In a heartfelt plea, Richey is offering a $3,000 reward for anyone who can safely return Sadie to her family. Anyone with information can contact the couple at 714-337-0291.
